  1. Hi: We create professionally crafted, b-roll based television shows on crime and criminal justice issues. I represent a federal criminal justice agency in Washington, D.C.

Is Blubrry interested in using these shows as part of your internet television content?

Background: DC Public Safety Television, Radio, Blog and Transcripts at http://media.csosa.gov.

“DC Public Safety” is the social media service of the federal Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency. “DC Public Safety” includes television, radio, a blog and transcripts and is one of the most popular social sites for crime and criminal justice issues in the United States.

“DC Public Safety” seeks to prompt an exchange of concerns and ideas to allow CSOSA to better protect public safety, improve citizen service and implement best practices research to reduce recidivism within the offender population.

The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) created “DC Public Safety” (one of the first social media sites within federal government) in January of 2007.

As of April, 2012, we produced 200 unique products (150 radio shows; 22 television shows; 28 blog articles).
These numbers do not include transcripts that we create for every radio and television show.

    The social media service offers:
    • Weekly radio shows
    • Quarterly television shows
    • A blog of articles placed in national publications
    • Transcripts of our electronic products

We are one the top social media sites on crime and justice issues based on requests and search engine rankings. We rank highly for approximately 30 crime and social media search terms with 15 being in the top three.

We currently receive 133,000 page views a month.

Approximately 50 criminal justice and government organizations accept our material via RSS feed. Universities in America and throughout the world participate.

Our television shows are offered through YouTube and many additional video sites.

Our television network offers our productions approximately 600 times a year.

Please contact Leonard Sipes, Senior Public Affairs Specialist/Social Media Manager at leonard.sipes@csosa.gov.
